Massiel Indira Taveras Henríquez (born 1984) is Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2007. She was the successor of Mía Taveras López, her cousin. She graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra
and became a lawyer and a designer.
Massiel is daughter of Damían Taveras and Carmen Henríquez de Taveras. She has six brothers, among them, the conductor of television and ex- queen of beauty Rita Isaura Taveras.
