In fact, Mate played in all four matches at the RWC and scored a try against England in the USA’s first match of the tournament.
Matekitonga just finished up his schooling at the University of Utah and following his performance in the Rugby World Cup was scouted by Pukekohe to play in New Zealand. He is now playing with Pearl City, in Iowa.
