Mateus Galiano da Costa (born 19 June 1984 in Luanda
), simply Mateus, is an Angola
n footballer who plays for C.D. Nacional in the Portuguese first division, as a forward.

After an uneventful season with Gil Vicente in the second division
, greatly delayed by the legal consequences, Mateus joined Boavista F.C. for 2007–08, with his new team also being relegated for irregularities.
In the 2008–09 season, Mateus moved to Madeira
