Upon graduation from college, Pryor began operating a landscape and construction company in Troy and the surrounding area.
In May 2008, Pryor was arrested by the Troy Police after his wife called claiming that he had assaulted her. He was jailed overnight and was ordered not to have any contact with his wife. His trial is scheduled for June.An order of acquittal/dismissl was issued by Jusdge Michael A. Martone in the 52-4 Ditrict Court on Oct. 12,2010. Ultimately, this marriage was dissolved in divorce (2009). Pryor was recently married to Patti Turri (owner of Starstruck Entertainment)on Aug. 13 2011
. He served on the council until 1999, including two years as Mayor pro-tem.
In his 2004 re-election bid he was defeated by former councilmember Louise Schilling.
