Max Bolleman is a Dutch jazz musician engineer & producer.

In 1983 he started a recording studio specialized in jazz music in Monster, Holland. At the same time he was working as an optician-optometrist.

Later on in 1986 Bolleman started a completely new recording studio named Studio 44 in Monster.
The same year he brought his profession as an optician-optometrist to an end. His studio became widely known.

In 1989 he received the "Export award" from the Dutch government because of the worldwide success.

He recorded over 1500 CDs from famous jazz musicians, including Dizzy Gillespie
