Maxim Podoprigora is an Austrian Olympic swimmer.
He is Jewish, and was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.

In 1998, he won a bronze medal in the European Short Course swimming championship in the 200 m breaststroke. In 2000, he won a bronze medal at the European Championships in the 200 m breaststroke. In 2001, he won a silver medal at the World Championships in the 200 m breaststroke, and won the 200 m breaststroke European Short Course swimming championship. In 2002, he won a silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke European Short Course swimming championship.
He competed in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney in 200 m breaststroke, in the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens in 100 m breaststroke and 200 m breaststroke, and in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in 200 m breaststroke.
