Maxime Bouet is a French

team . He caused some controversy on the second stage of the Tour de France 2010 by stealing a bike length on the Peloton's attempt to all finish at the same time. In addition to that 2nd place on Stage 10 of the Tour, Bouet rode strong in the breakaway for most of the race before being dropped inside 20 kilometers to go, he eventually finished 6th.
