Michael Turner is a former Australian rules footballer who played 245 games for the Geelong Football Club
in the VFL from 1974 to 1988.
He followed in the footsteps of his father Leo Turner
in representing Geelong and played as a wingman and half forward. He was an All Australian in 1979 and captained the club for two seasons in the mid 80's. In 1982 he was Geelong's leading goalkicker with 40 goals.
Turner is a wingman in Geelong's official 'Team of the Century'.
