in a 2–1 loss. He was sent back down to the Moose on February 7, 2008.
On February 4, 2009, Brown was traded by the Canucks to the Anaheim Ducks

On May 1, 2009, Brown was ejected from Game One of the Western Conference Semifinals after a questionable hit on then Red Wings
