. He plays as a second-row forward or as a prop. He initially began his career with the Warrington Wolves when he was a part of the famous under 11s side who managed to go through a whole season undefeated, winning the championship along the way. This was the catalyst that saw him continue through the junior ranks and eventually become an integral part of the first team.

Mike had a successful loan period at Castleford Tigers in 2010. While at Castleford he got some regular first team action, due to Castlefords crippling injury situation. He grabbed his chance and managed to score 2 tries.
