Career

He was taught to play the drums at the age of five by his grandfather and, at the age of eight, he joined a stage school to pursue an acting career. He also studied music theory, percussion and drums at the Barking & Essex College of Music and played in the Essex Jazz Band. His first stage appearance was as Boy Babe in Babes In The Wood
