Mineraliniai Vandenys (MV) is the leading wine

In 2008 the company’s annual sales amounted to 646 million litas (187 million euro). According to State Tax Inspectorate, MV takes the fifth place in the biggest tax payers list: MV has added 351 million litas (101 million euro) to the Treasury of the State in 2008.
MV is a part of MG Baltic Concern. It is one of the major groups of production, trade, real estate and media companies in Lithuania currently controlling three holdings: MG Baltic Trade, MG Baltic Investment and MG Valda.

MV network stores increasingly grew in popularity, and in a year, the company expanded its business to import and wholesale distribution activities and started supplying world-famous brands of spirits to the Lithuanian market.
In 1997, the company supplemented its portfolio with tobacco, soft drinks and beer.
The company successfully survived 1998 crisis in Russia
and continued expanding its activities until 2000 when the Lithuanian Hotel and Restaurant Association acknowledged it as the top supplier of beverages.
Since 2004, after implementation of new management and accounting programmes, MV has been forming the range of spirits, managing resources and providing relevant information regarding sales for its clients.
During sixteen years of operation, the company has not only expanded its activities in Lithuania (5 representative offices in Vilnius

Today, the company’s portfolio consists of 1.500 different brands which are supplied to 4.000 retail stores by 3 distribution centres, managed by the company.
Since 2000, the company has been using 35,000 sq. m. of warehouse space in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda as well as terminals in Šiauliai and Panevėžys, serviced by over 100 trucks. Microsoft Axapta software (WMS) employed in the logistics system enables the management of the flow of goods and accounting of records by production batch.
MV is not only in the business of import and distribution, it is engaged in marketing of the represented products likewise. Each country employs drink experts who form the culture of consumption of wine and spirits, while headquarter product managers coordinate brand marketing.
In 2005, specialized MV wine stores opened their doors. Today, two Gero vyno parduotuvės (Good wine stores) operate in Vilnius along with one in Kaunas and Panevėžys.
