Mir Laiq Ali was the last Prime Minister of Hyderabad State under the rule of the Nizam
s. His official title was "President of the Executive Council of the Nizam of Hyderabad".

He was the mastermind behind the Razakars
and appointed Kasim Razvi as its chief. He was kept under house arrest in Begumpet, from where he escaped in March 1950.
He died in New York in 1971 and was laid to rest in the holy city of Madinah.
