, and Miss Tourism Queen International. The first Miss Mongolia competition took place in 2005. Miss Mongolia pageant's official organizer is Desoft Media company.
Each year, approximately twenty women compete in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and seven are selected by a panel of judges. The 1st place winner is crowned the official Miss Mongolia and competes in Miss World. Additionally, there are two finalists (1st and 2nd runner ups respectively), one which goes to Miss Tourism Queen International and the other to Miss Intercontinental. Lastly, one finalist is chosen to participate in Miss World.
