and how to stop it, but not before it sucks up the head of the statue of Abraham Lincoln
; Sybil follows it into the vortex, and Sam and Max decide they should follow as well in order to save the two.
On the other side, they find themselves on Easter Island
, with Sybil and Abe safe and enjoying a picnic; however, the ancient Moai
(stone statues) of the island recognize that the appearance of Sam and Max is the sign from a prophecy
that will end their existence, and implore the two to try to stop it. On the island, they find Amelia Earhart

, all turned into babies by the effects of the Fountain of Youth
. With their help or hindrance, the duo make it into a secret cave below the island, where the ghost of their dead goldfish
, Mr. Spatula, is being worshiped as a high priest by a trio of sea simians. Mr. Spatula appears ready to take revenge on Sam and Max by starting a lava machine with the assistance of the sea simians, which will wipe out everything on the island. The two are able to make the simians recognize Max as their true high priest, but not before Mr. Spatula can start the lava machine. The situation is resolved when some quick thinking from Sam redirecting the lava flow, and therefore saving the island. After the credits the Moai head are seen being captured by a mysterious force from the sky.
