Modern Armenian is the written form of the Armenian language
which came to be used starting in the 18th century.
Modern Armenian has two branches:
Armenian language

which came to be used starting in the 18th century.
Modern Armenian has two branches:
- Western Armenian (or "Turkish-Armenian" or "Istanbul Armenian")
- Eastern Armenian (or "Russian-Armenian" or "Yerevan Armenian").
