The Moir Baronetcy, of Whitehanger in Fernhurst in the County of Sussex, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 11 July 1916 for Ernest Moir. He was the founder and head of Ernest William Moir & Co Ltd, engineers, and a Director of S Pearson & Son Ltd
