, the town has a total area of 36.0 square miles (93.1 km²), of which, 35.3 square miles (91.4 km²) of it is land and 0.7 square miles (1.7 km²) of it (1.86%) is water.
Most of Molitor is hilly, with small glacial lakes. It lies within the Perkinstown terminal moraine, which is described under Taylor County.

was 7.5 people per square mile (2.9/km²). There were 142 housing units at an average density of 4.0 per square mile (1.6/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.48% White, 0.38% Native American, 0.76% from other races
, and 0.38% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.76% of the population.
There were 100 households out of which 31.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.0% were married couples
living together, 5.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.0% were non-families. 17.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 2.96.
In the town the population was spread out with 25.1% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 27.8% from 25 to 44, 28.5% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 113.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.0 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $37,500, and the median income for a family was $43,750. Males had a median income of $28,750 versus $20,568 for females. The per capita income
