The farm house, built around 1745, was owned by Governor William Bradford, and the farms has over 200 acres (80.9 ha) of land with many historic buildings. Numerous Wampanoag artifacts have been found on the grounds and many are displayed in the nearby Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology
