The Moutheater full length entitled "Ornament" was released in July 2009, followed by another American summer tour of the midwest and parts of the south and northeast. Ornament was featured in Alternative Press, Decibel, and Outburn as well as other outlets.

In early 2010 Moutheater announced that they had begun working on new material and would be entering the studio in the summer months to record a new record for Last Anthem Records. Around the same time the band also announced the departure of bassist Brett Mathews and the addition of new bassist Jeb Black to the lineup.

"Colonial", a four song 12 inch EP, was released in early 2011. In August of that year bass playing duties changed hands again with Joey Chapman taking on the position.

Other projects

The members of Moutheater are involved in various of other music related projects. Andrew runs the label Swim Harder Cassettes and performs noise as Debris Amour and Tim runs Double O Recording.
