It is Located on National Highway 9 (India)
and there are many small villages besides this town. Even though NH9 (Hyderabad-Vijayawada) highway passes through it, still it is under developed. The nearest big towns are Kodada and Suryapeta. All the people from Munagala surrounding places will be using the services from kodad and Suryapet
Munagala comes under the kodad Assembly constituency.
There are few Govt offices are located in Munagala like MRO office,MDO office, Police station and more.There are three banks like Andhra bank, Nagarjuna grameena bank and canara bank.
It will take 3 hours to reach Munagala from Hyderabad and Vijayawada. There is no train route for this town.
