The terminal is divided into four sections each direction on Munkegata and two sections each direction on Dronningens gate. Each bus route stops at a consequent stop in each direction, making it possible to manage a terminal that is two blocks long. One of the stops serves regional buses from Gauldal Billag

there is also a bus station, but this only serves regional- and express buses in addition to some city buses. Before 1961 the Trondheim Tramway
