race-themed show on Speed Channel
. It essentially is a replacement for NASCAR Nation
and This Week in NASCAR
(formerly NASCAR Inside Nextel Cup
) (both former NASCAR on SPEED–related shows). The show gets its name in part since it is broadcast from Charlotte, North Carolina
, which is the 'hub' of most NASCAR teams. It initially was a half-hour show, but eventually became the hour-long show it is today. It currently airs at 6 pm Monday through Thursday, but is expected to return to its initial start time of 7 pm at the beginning of the 2012 NASCAR season.
At first the show was hosted by a rotating group which included NASCAR RaceDay

(Thursday). His segments have become popular for the various 'awards' he gives drivers and teams such as the crying towel, cigars, strait jackets. Also on Tusedays, one of the three NASCAR Miss Sprint Cup's presents the tweets of the week from NASCAR Drivers and Crewman. Danielle Trotta contributes segments to the show and does interviews with drivers, crew chiefs, car owners as well. She also acts as a fill-in host in Byrnes' absence.
