NIPPS

NIPPS is a Japanese hip hop
artist. After spending several years in Brooklyn, New York, he returned to Japan in 1995 along with Dev Large and DJ Masterkey to form Buddha Brand. He later released a solo album and several singles, working with such artists as Jeru the Damaja. He later started up a fashion brand "NUTS & BONES" in 1999.
His name is usually written in capital letters, but can also be written in katakana
as ニップス (nippusu). NIPPS is also known as Hibahihi (飛葉飛火), roughly meaning "flying leaf, flying fire," and uses both names simultaneously in his lyrics.
