NWA World Tag Team Championship (Mid-America version)
The Mid-America version of the NWA World Tag Team Championship existed from 1957 until 1977. It was defended primarily in Tennessee and Alabama.-Title history:...

but when they became defunct in 1977 the “Mid-American” title became the main title for the promotion.

In 2001 the titles were brought back, this time as the main tag-team titles for the NWA Main Event that runs shows in the same area as the “NWA Mid-America” used to run.
