The film was launched and began filming on 6 May 2011. The title of the film was originally picked by Jogi Naidu for a film to be made by Clapboard Productions banner denies with Allari Naresh to be directed by Parusuram but since the project got delayed he gave it away to Paruchuri Kireeti for this project.
