. The park is a large forest still in its original state. It is filled with pineries, grasslands and virgin ungles. The park is home to more than 100 species of birds. The average annual temperature is 25 degree Celsius. The coldest month is November with temperatures as low as 0 degrees Celsius. Nam Nao NP is encompassed within a Level I TCU. It's area encompasses 1000 square kilometres (386.1 sq mi) in size.
