, Sleeping Beauty (ballet) and Romeo and Juliet (ballet) with David Hallberg. A week before her performance in The Sleeping Beauty, Osipova was mugged outside the MET. She suffered minor bruises, lost only a pair of pointe shoes and a hammer, but was fine other than that and was still able to perform.

Natalia's debut as Kitri in Don Quixote on 7 November 2005 ignited her career considerably. She brought a rarely seen electrifying energy to the old classic. Her technical flamboyance and carefree daredevilry earned her accolades from the critics and secured great acclaim with the audience.
