. In future, the route will also connect northwards to London
starting alongside the river Thames at Wandsworth
, while linking to National Cycle Route 21
for a section between Redhill
and Crawley.
The northern section of the route between Wandsworth and Carshalton
has already been completed. It follows the route of the Wandle Trail
, and mainly runs on foot and cycle paths alongside the river.
