History

National Institute of Homoeopathy was established on 10 December 1975 in Kolkata as an Autonomous Organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The then Institute building was located at 118 Amherst Street, Kolkata 700 009. Later it was shifted to the present location .
