Nava Telangana Party was a political party

. The party was founded by Tulla Devender Goud
to achieve separate statehood for Telangana
. According to the party the people of Telangana
were being treated as second class citizens, due to lack of drinking water for in spite of having two major rivers (Krishna
and Godavari) flowing in the region.
NTPP intended to contest the 2009 Andhra Pradesh assembly election in all constituencies of the Telangana districts (Hyderabad
, Khammam
, Mahbubnagar
, Nizamabad
, Nalgonda
, Adilabad
, RR, Karimnagar
, Warangal
, and Medak
) together with like-minded parties with the objective of creating a separate Telangana state.
