The Neils Hansen Basketball Stadium is located in the West Australian
regional city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder
. The stadium is owned and administered by the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Basketball Association. From March through to August each year, it is the home of the Goldfields Giants
of the State Basketball League of Western Australia (SBL) and it has a maximum capacity of around 1200 for SBL games.
The stadium has played host to numerous National Basketball League (NBL)
pre-season games over the years, including two games of the NBL's official pre-season tournament in 1996 featuring the Perth Wildcats

In an NBL perspective, the stadium's highlight has been the staging of an official NBL regular season game in February 2003 between the Wildcats and the Hunter Pirates

regular season game in the early 1990s featuring the West Coast Waves
(then known as the Perth Breakers). Another WNBL regular season game involving the Waves (then known as the Perth Lynx) was played at the stadium in February 2009.
