Nelly started cricket in 1993 where she excelled to the point that she decided that she should take it a notch higher which was to play for the National cricket team and to an extent the West Indies team. Nelly is currently looking forward to playing for the West Indies in the World Cup in 2008, which would be her last tournament in her 14 year career.
