Neo-Baroque is a term used to describe music
which displays important aspects of Baroque
style, but is not from the Baroque period proper—i.e., the 17th and 18th centuries. Although composers of every era following the Baroque period continued to use many Baroque idioms or forms (such as extensive contrapuntal passages or fugue
