Neo-theocracy
Encyclopedia
"Neo-theocracy" is a neologism political commentators began using in the first decade of the 21st century to refer to an alleged world-wide growth in the popularity of the acceptance of the legitimacy of the combination of religion and politics, considered to be a threat to the principle of the separation of religion and state.
