Henderson New Star was established in April 2009 when Henderson Group
acquired New Star Asset Management and rebranded its UK retail business. Henderson New Star was rebranded Henderson Global Investors in April 2010.
Henderson Global Investors manages a diverse range of funds with particular strengths in equities, fixed income, commercial property, multi-manager and sustainable and responsible investing (SRI).
Henderson Global Investors employs a multi-boutique approach. Its fund managers (including several of the investment management industry’s most highly rated performers such as Bill McQuaker, Richard Pease, John Pattullo and James Gledhill) are given the flexibility and freedom to set their own investment philosophies and processes, allowing them to generate fund outperformance within a tightly controlled risk management framework.
