. The Muncie plant, while never profitable despite moving New Process Gears most profitable line there, was reverted to GM control. The name of this GM Plant was changed to "Manual Transmissions Of Muncie". It closed its doors in mid 2006, and was turned over to Delaware County, IN. The plant was soon demolished after the turnover to Delaware County, IN. After having previously accepted wage and benefit reductions, the union rejected two new concessions and Magna International announced its intent to close the Syracuse plant. The design services were moved and the few remaining workers will be out of a job by November 2011.

 as the "Quadra-Trac II". The Syracuse location was also the site which produced the original manual transaxle for the Dodge Neon and PT Cruiser (T-350), as well as manual transaxles for Chrysler minivans (T-650 & 750), most of which ended up in Europe.
