Route 249 crosses through a small forest as Brant-North Collins Road. At the intersection with Versailles Plank Road, Route 249 turns to the north along the route. The highway quickly turns off onto Brant Road and continues eastward. Route 249 crosses over a stream and becomes concurrent for 23 feet (7 m) in North Collins with U.S. Route 62. Route 249 turns in a different directions and turns onto Langford Road and heads into Langford, where it terminates at NY 75
