The livery is slowly being changed to dark green and white with lime green and grey logos at the rear of the vehicles although there are a few exceptions: The company runs seven high-quality large-capacity school coaches branded as "Skool Coach" that are painted in all-over yellow, mimicking those used in North America, these being Scania/Irizar (S-kool), as well as a few sponsored buses bearing "BMI Baby" advertising. In the summer months, Newport Transport also operate the red-liveried open-top bus tour of the city under the City Sightseeing

As of August 2008, areas of the city not served by Newport Transport include the outlying villages of Llanmartin
