History

Newscoop 3.5 was released on 31 January 2011 and featured multi-author management, a geolocation interface, increased speed and a new interface tailored for journalists.

Newscoop 3.5.1 was released on 18 February 2011 as a security update to 3.5 and fixed an XSS vulnerability in the admin login page plus front end vulnerabilities to Cross-Site Scripting attacks.

Newscoop 3.5.2 was released on 15 March 2011. It added a new plug-in that provides reCAPTCHA service support and improvements to the dashboard and article edit screen andsupport for uploading multiple files to the Media Archive. A new template called "The Journalist" was also included. The update addressed more than 60 bugs found in the previous version, some of which to relate to improving security.

Newscoop 3.5.3 was released on May 19 and fixed bugs relating to search, article lists, article editing and installation.
