Early life

Monteleone was born in Pensacola, Florida

, the eldest of four children. His father, a musician, was in the US Navy., and his mother held several positions to support the family while his father was away on duty. He showed an affinity for music and acting at an early age, growing up in Milton, Florida

 and taking music classes from the age of 7. When he was 11, his family moved to central Florida where Nick studied music theory
