Nicola Payne

Nicola "Nikki" Payne, aka Mills, (born 26 July 1966 in Hong Kong
) is a former New Zealand rower
who won an Olympic Bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics
in Seoul
. Along with Lynley Hannen
, Payne won Bronze in the women's coxless pairs.
Payne later married Peter Mills, and they had a daughter, although they have since separated. She trained as a doctor in New Zealand, and as of 2008 was completing a fellowship in paediatric ear nose and throat surgery in London.
