In July 2001, Grey-Cabey continued on to Australia, and at age five, became the youngest soloist ever to perform with an orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, as well as the Queensland Conservatory and the International Convention in Brisbane. He appeared on Ripley's Believe It or Not. He has been admitted to Harvard University for the class of 2015, but after spending a week in the First-Year Outdoor Program in FOP 8, he decided to defer a year to catch up with family.
