Description

The terminal comprises an long L shaped pier with one pontoon (Wharf 2) at the junction of the long and short arms and the other pontoon (Wharf 1) at the free end of the shorter arm. Each pontoon has a single docking station. Generally, the CityCats coming downstream and upstream tie up at pontoon 2. However, at times, when two CityCats arrive at the same time, those coming upstream tie up at pontoon 1. The CityFerry service however uses only pontoon 1 as its upstream terminus.  pay phone and a drinking water fountain. Two flights of stairs across the Bicentennial Bikeway connect the head of the terminal to the Brisbane CBD via William Street. Parking used to be available on the Queens Wharf Road but was closed down from March 2009. Pavement motorbike parking is available at the head of the stairs connecting the terminal to William Street.

The terminal was re-opened on 18 April after temporary measures were put in place by the Brisbane City Council to restore CityCat operations.
