The terminal was re-opened on 18 April after temporary measures were put in place by the Brisbane City Council to restore CityCat operations.

Description
The terminal comprises an long L shaped pier with one pontoon (Wharf 2) at the junction of the long and short arms and the other pontoon (Wharf 1) at the free end of the shorter arm. Each pontoon has a single docking station. Generally, the CityCats coming downstream and upstream tie up at pontoon 2. However, at times, when two CityCats arrive at the same time, those coming upstream tie up at pontoon 1. The CityFerry service however uses only pontoon 1 as its upstream terminus.
