organisations in Norway. They consider themselves committed to the inerrancy of the Bible as the Word of God. They support several conservative beliefs such as the belief that marriage is between a man and a woman and the rejection of women as clergy (main belief of the organisation, however disputed among some members). Additionally, they are pro-life. "As a conservative Lutheran organisation we have a clear stand at all these question. Regarding abortion, we think this is killing an innocent child and do say. We find homosexual relation opposite to the word of God and have as our position that sex is reserved only for the marriage between man and woman. Therefore we do not accept leaders or clergy living as homosexuals. As an organisation we do not accept woman in the pastoral office, but I have to admit that although this is our official position, there are different views inside the organisation." Espen Ottosen, leader of the Informasjon Department of the Norwegian Lutheran Mission.
NLM owns several of the country's Christian boarding schools.
