There is a Churchs and Masjid, as the town has over 4,000 Muslims. This village produces a significant amount of Turmeric

The Village extends roughly 6 miles (9.7 km) north to south which includes about 20000 acres (80.9 km²) of agriculture land; and roughly 4 miles (6.4 km) east to west.
The land in the Village is still mainly agricultural but now comprises only few farms which employ very few people. The ZPPH School started in Nutakki in late 1950s and is now a well known school in the surrounding Villages; it educate a number of students who live in the village and the surrounding villages (RamachandraPuram, Mellampudi, Chirravuru and Kothapalem).
The total population is about 18000. The population divides by age group roughly into: 25% aged 18 and under, 50% aged between 18 and 60, 25% aged 60 or over.
The village has a primary school, many temples and a number of other businesses. Being on a radial route out of Tenali, the village has a regular bus service and is 14 kilometers from Duggirala which is known for its famous Turmeric Market Yard.
In early 1980s, few people started chicken farms industry in Nutakki and later it expanded and helped lot of people financially
Nutakki has been in primary source of milk supply to Sangam Dairy for many years.

Nutakki lies on the south side of the river Krishna in Guntur Dist and about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south east from Vijayawada. It is in the historic southern route from Vijayawada to Repalle along with River Krishna and is bounded on its south side by the Tenali route that ran from Vijayawada to Tenali via Duggirala which is a major road Connected to Nutakki Village.History
