Official PlayStation Magazine (Australia) is a magazine published by Media Factory Pty. Ltd. The magazine was previously called Official PlayStation 2 Magazine (Australia) but changed its name to coincide with the release of the PlayStation 3
. The magazine's title is often abbreviated to OPS.
OPS costs A$14.95 and sometimes comes with a Blu-ray demo disc, though it usually has a custom made DVD with gaming trailers and other content. Although it shares the nameplate
with other 'Official PlayStation' titles from around the world, Official PlayStation Magazine - Australia does not license content, and is written entirely in Australia. It is the only dedicated PlayStation magazine in Australia to be written locally.

The regular sections of OPS are:- Intro - Editor and staff explain what has been happening in that month
- Insider - Recent PlayStation news, as well as smaller sub-sections that include a mock movie based on a game, a Top 10 with a subject that changes each month, a calendar of events, various competitions and more
- Inbox - Each month a "Letter of the Month" wins the game of the month.
- Cuttings - Snippets of letters or extremely short letters that cannot work as letter by themselves.
