Ogilvie High School is an all girls public high school in New Town

. It is the only public all girls school in the state, the only other public single-sex school being New Town High School for boys.
In 2006, the school had an enrolment of approximately 1,200 students covering years seven to ten and 136 teaching and support staff.
The school boasts outstanding academic success and extra curricular programs. It was also named as one of the top ten best schools in Australia in 2004.
The school recently underwent renovations which gave the school three new drama/dance studios.
Throughout 2007, Ogilvie High School celebrated its seventieth anniversary.
A number of special events occur throughout the year also. If there is sufficient interest in a specific event, then the school is often represented. These include athletics knockouts, bushwalking, football gala day, tennis coaching, school basketball championships, school gymnastics, horse trials, surf league, outdoor education, fun runs and indoor rockclimbing.
Sport badges are also awarded to students who have gained significant achievements. The badges are offered at three levels: gold, silver and bronze. Each level has a set of specific selection criteria that must be met for students to be eligible.
The school offers vast sports fields and grounds, tennis and netball courts, a gymnasium and a fitness centre.
The House system is integral to the pastoral care and leadership development at Ogilvie.
