The Old Brethren German Baptists are a group of Schwarzenau Brethren
that split off from the Old German Baptist Brethren
(OGBB) in 1939, and differ from them by stricter adherence to traditions, such as the use of horse and buggy, rather than automobiles, as a means of transportation. There are about 130 members, including a group near Camden, Indiana

group, who withdrew over concerns over a perceived slide to modernity in that group.
They are distinct from the Old Order German Baptist Brethren
