Olympiacos are the dominants of Greek volleyball, having gained the most national championships and cups while they are the only Greek team to have won European trophies (2 CEV Top Teams Cup). They have also played in many Final Four

Olympiacos have a women volleyball team as well which was founded in 1992. Contrary to the men's team, women of Olympiacos had never played a major role until 2007, when they finished second in the Greek league and eliminated their eternal enemy Panathinaikos
